Dragon Con 2009

Dragon Con 2009 ran from September 4, 2009 to September 7, 2009 in Atlanta. This edition maintained the four-hotel downtown footprint and attendance above 30,000, showing how quickly Dragon Con was scaling from a regional fan gathering into a major downtown pop-culture convention.

This was part of Dragon Con's major expansion decade, when additional hotels and heavier attendance turned the convention into one of the country's most visible multi-genre fan events.
