Dragon Con 2012

Dragon Con 2012 ran from August 31, 2012 to September 3, 2012 in Atlanta. This edition grew to around 53,000 attendees across five hotels over Labor Day weekend, showing how quickly Dragon Con was scaling from a regional fan gathering into a major downtown pop-culture convention.

This was part of Dragon Con's major expansion decade, when additional hotels and heavier attendance turned the convention into one of the country's most visible multi-genre fan events.
