Gen Con SoCal

Gen Con SoCal was a West Coast regional Gen Con held in Anaheim during the early 2000s. It was positioned as a California counterpart to the main Gen Con event, bringing tabletop programming, publishers, and branded convention visibility to a major Southern California venue market.

The series did not last, but it captures a later expansion attempt by the Gen Con brand after the long-established Indianapolis flagship was already dominant. That makes it a useful footnote in Gen Con's history of regional experiments.
