Gen Con 2018 ran August 2–5, 2018 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. It followed directly after the convention''s fiftieth-anniversary milestone and continued the Indianapolis period at full scale.
The 2018 edition preserved Gen Con''s established balance of exhibitor-heavy commerce, nonstop scheduled play, and community-driven fan activity across the convention center and adjacent hotels.
